The 2025 Hallmark Keepsake ornaments have arrived!

Hallmark Ornaments Top Stories

For Hallmark Keepsake ornament collectors, it’s the beginning of the best time of the year. The 2025 Hallmark Keepsake Ornaments have arrived! This year’s collection is as vast as always and available for viewing on the Hallmark website or by downloading the 2025 Dream book (highly recommended!). You can also get the actual Keepsake Dream Book in print where Keepsake Ornaments are sold (I got mine at my local Paper Source). This year’s collection features ornaments in the following categories:

  • Art and Artistry
  • Christmas Wonder
  • Meaningful Moments
  • Fun Gifts, Perfect Fits
  • Small Wonders
  • Kids & Kids at Heart
  • Fan Favorites

The tariff impact

I have reviewed the entire 2025 collection and have some personal favorites, as always, amongst the terrific new additions to this year’s Hallmark Keepsake Ornaments. But this year comes with an important caveat; tariffs put in place by President Trump’s administration have resulted in price increases for the ornaments and Dream Book gifts that are not reflected in the pricing in the actual Dream Book (it went to print prior to the tariffs being put in place). This means that prices seen in the actual book are no longer accurate.

If you go on the website and download the Dream Book as a PDF, Hallmark has added a section at the top that includes all the new pricing. And some of the price increases are significant so be prepared. For example, items previously costing $129.99 are now $142.99 ($13 tariff charge). A lower priced item, such as one that previously cost $3.99 now costs $4.99 ($1 tariff charge) so be sure to check the new price list before ordering. It may impact your decision on what to buy this year. My printed Dream Book had a new price list stapled inside on the first page.

Finding the ornament that’s right for you

Every collector or Keepsake ornament enthusiast has their own personal favorites when seeking the next one for their collection and I do as well. My favorite category remains Christmas Wonder with its retro 1950s and 1960s look.

As a child growing up in the sixties, the nostalgia of this set is what appeals to me personally. My favorite of the bunch this year is the “Nifty Fifties Keepsake Ornaments” item (previously $18.99 and now $23.99 with the tariff increase). It comes with a retro Christmas ball ornament, a Christmas tree ornament, and a Santa ornament.

As always, Hallmark does the best job of anyone of creating a wide range of ornaments and items sure to appeal to anyone from a Heat Miser ornament to Baby’s First Christmas ornament to even a chess board. This year’s set has something for everyone!

Sports, movies, Star Trek, Disney, and more!

For those collectors and ornament enthusiasts anticipating who and what will be featured this year in sports, movies, Star Trek, and more, the wait is over. On the field of play, Jalen Hurts, TJ Watt, Michah Parsons, Christian McCaffrey, Freddie Freeman, Trea Turner and Conor Bedard are featured this year.

For Star Wars fans, you may want to check out the Darth Vader ShowToppers Mini Tree Topper and ShowToppers Black Mini Tree. Together they perform a synchronized sound and light show to “The Imperial March.” Now that has to be seen to be believed!

As always, there are Star Trek ornaments with this year’s crop focused on the Voyager series with the USS Voyager ornament, Seven of Nine ornament, Guinan, Hologram Janeway, and more.

And don’t worry Harry Potter fans, there are plenty of ornaments available this year for you too. For those who want to mix their holidays together, Hallmark has a Halloween-ish take on the holidays this year with a huge collection of Disney’s Haunted Mansion ornaments and gifts available (my personal favorite is Victor Geist playing the organ).

My favorites and other cool ornaments this year

Having now looked through this year’s entire collection, I can highlight some personal favorites and some that are just plain cool.

In addition to my favorite collection (Christmas Wonder), I have a top 5 list of personal 2025 favorites:

  1. Family Controversy: This one’s from the Christmas Story movie and features the old man, played by Darren McGavin. This ornament finds him on bended knee protecting his priceless leg lamp. A funny take on my favorite Christmas movie. That’s a winner.
  2. Beetlejuice: Any time I can put Michael Keaton on my tree, whether it’s Beetlehjuice or Batman, it’s a winner.
  3. For Muppet Show fans, you can snap up Kermit the Frog sitting on a log playing the Rainbow Connection. And yes, it plays the song and Kermit moves! Very cool.
  4. All the Peanuts ornaments: This year marks the 75th anniversary of Peanuts and Hallmark is celebrating. I still have a Hallmark Peanuts ornament from 1977 that I put on my tree every year so this has a special place in my holiday heart. This one falls under the “my favorite non-ornament item” as a standalone piece called “A Charlie Brown Christmas.” It features the stage where Charlie Brown was asked to direct the annual Christmas play and features a synchronized light show with Lucy, Linus, Charlie Brown, Snoopy and your favorite Beethoven-loving pianist playing his mini piano.
  5. Finally, in the odd but strangely cool category, you can get the burned and melted Darth Vader helmet (titled “Darth Vader Pyre Helmet). That is sure to be a collector’s item!

In truth, there are way too many ornaments to describe here, but that’s what the downloadable Dream Book and expansive website are for; check them all out today! With more than 500 ornaments to choose from, including regular-sized ornaments and minis, many of which are online only and are from year’s past, you can’t go wrong.
