Every year, my wife and I head up to Portsmouth, New Hampshire from our home in Massachusetts to enjoy what we consider to be one of the best Christmas cities in America. Strolling down the center of town with a holiday chill in the air, we always enjoy all the expansive decorations, shopping for gifts in all their wonderful stores, enjoying the town chorus that performs on main street, while munching on treats, hot chocolate, and coffee we discover along the way. But there are many wonderful cities and towns across America that go all out for Christmas and are worth a seasonal visit.
Last year my wife and I visited Stockbridge, Massachusetts, where once a year they recreate a Norman Rockwell painting of their main street, antique cars and all. It was our first time visiting and we’re loved seeing all their holiday spirit on full display in this small town in Massachusetts.
